Simon Dwyer (Director) and Escmay Dwyer (Business Manager) bring a wealth of experience and passion to Washaway.

Originally from Wexford, Ireland, Simon made the move to Aotearoa at 21, working across hospitality, finance, and property & facilities management. After identifying a gap in the exterior cleaning industry, he launched Washaway to bring professional, high-quality cleaning services to homes and businesses. With his expertise in property maintenance, Simon is dedicated to making Washaway the best in the business. When he’s not working, you’ll find him spending time with his wife, daughters, and dog or cheering on the Warriors at their games.

Escmay moved to New Zealand from Samoa at age 10 and has spent most of her life in West Auckland. With a background in Property Services, she brings valuable experience in operations, marketing, and Health & Safety at Washaway. Her goal is to expand Washaway’s portfolio while ensuring the safety of clients, workers, and the public remains a top priority.

As a dedicated mother and businesswoman, Escmay believes that women truly can do it all—and she proves it every day!
